Flex Back for Wood
Carbon - Hard Edge - Flexible Back - "Hard edge" blades are made from carbon steel, and usually serve as general purpose blades. They can cut relatively free machining metals as well as wood and plastic, and are used on light machines in situations involving limited or occasional use. Because "Hard Edge" blades only withstand heat up to 400 degrees, they should not be used for harder materials or operated at excessively high speeds.
