Carbon Hardback for Metal
Carbon - Hard Edge - Hard Back - "Hard Back" Blades made from carbon steel have the same heat resistance as "Hard Edge" blades. However, the hardened back accepts heavier feed pressure and blade tension than the "Hard Edge" blade. As a result "Hard Back" blades are often used on larger machines in production applications involving easy to machine materials.
